Maya

This character is named Maya, she is the only character that is not present in the original fairy tale. She is a Filipino animator from our world, and her storyline's purpose is to connect Filipino audiences to the film. Her storyline is also what communicates the film's main moral lesson, which is that good stories are things that persevere and evolve through time. As she is from the real world, her design reflects that of a modern 21st century woman. I was not able to make a full character turnaround due to time constraints.
